As Bilkent Blockchain Club, they participated in the Digital Turkey Blockchain Hackathon-Digiathon competition organized by the Presidency of Digital Transformation Office, which was held between 12th to 13th November. Among 24 teams that passed the preliminary round, their team secured the third place with their project called “MikroVeri,” consisting of team members Utku Koca, Ege Aybars Bozkurt, Kaan Aydeniz, and Kadir Metehan Çalışkan. The competition aimed to develop innovative technologies by integrating E-Government and Blockchain technologies.
In line with this goal, their project “MikroVeri” enables the proof of fragmented data through blockchain technologies, instead of proving personal data as a whole, and they have developed a data privacy and verification protocol that can be integrated into the E-Government portal.
