The thesis titled “Image-to-Image Translation with Disentangled Latent Vectors for Face Editing” by our department’s master student Yusuf Dalva, and his advisor Dr. Ayşegül Dündar, has achieved the first place in the IEEE Computer Society Türkiye Master Thesis Competition. We wish continued success to our student.

The paper “Analyzing Bug Life Cycles to Derive Practical Insights” written by Computer Engineering undergraduate students Çağrı Eren and Kerem Şahin, along with faculty member Eray Tüzün, has won the best research paper award at the 27th International Conference on Evaluation and Assessment in Software Engineering.

The paper “Towards Better Code Reviews: Using Mutation Testing to Improve Reviewer Attention” written by Computer Engineering alumni Ziya Mukhtarov , Mannan Abdul , Mokhlaroyim Raupova, Javid Baghirov, Osama Tanveer, along with faculty members Haluk Altunel and Eray Tüzün, has won the best paper award at the 17th  International Conference on Software and System Process.
