CS Fair 2025, Senior Design Project Fair of the Computer Engineering Department, took place at Bilkent Hotel and Conference Center on May 12, 2025.
CS Fair included senior design project demos and presentations, short talks, project and personal award ceremonies, food, drinks, and a lot of fun. Students, faculty, company representatives, and student families attended the event.
44 innovative projects done by a total of 212 students participated in the event. Since 2012, innovation has been a key component in the senior projects as part of the CS 491/492 course sequence in the CS Department. Students come up with project ideas themselves and also get feedback from innovation experts working at different companies.
15 companies supported CS Fair 2025 as sponsors. All sponsors received plaques from Vice Rector Prof. Orhan Aytür. 14 personal awards and 2 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Awards were decided by the students’ votes and the award certificates were presented by Vice Rector Prof. Ezhan Karaşan and the sponsor company representative, respectively. Finally, 9 project awards were decided by a jury consisting of company representatives and faculty members, and the award prizes and certificates were presented by the sponsors.
