Two Bilkent CS students won awards for the best MSc theses in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. The competition was organized by the IEEE Computer Society Turkey Chapter, and the results were announced on October 28, 2024. This competition aims to identify and honor the best MSc theses in Computer Science and Engineering.
Erdem Tuna (CS) and his advisor, Asst. Prof. Eray Tüzün, won second prize with the thesis, “The Impact of Code Review Smells on Code Smells.”
Oğuzhan Özçelik (CS) and his advisor, Res. Prof. Fazlı Can, won third prize with the thesis, “Misinformation Detection by Leveraging User Communities on Social Media.”
